Take a Break: Cooling-Off & Self-Exclusion

Short pause or long block — how each works and how to start one.

Your break options

Pick how long to lock your account, all from My Account → Responsible Gambling → Take a Break:

  • 24 hours

  • 1 week

  • 1 month

  • 6 months

  • Permanent

How a break works

  • You can't log in, deposit, or bet for the whole period.

  • Pending withdrawals still process — your money still comes to you.

  • All marketing stops immediately.

  • A break can't be undone before it ends — that's deliberate, so take your time choosing. Shorter breaks (24 hours, 1 week, 1 month) reopen automatically when the time's up; 6 months and Permanent are treated as self-exclusion.

  • We keep a record of self-exclusions for 7 years and block new sign-ups using your details during that time.

It takes effect the moment you confirm. You can also message support with the words 'self-exclusion' — agents treat it as top priority and will never try to talk you out of it.

Make it stick

Taking a long break? We recommend also blocking gambling apps and sites on your devices — tools like GamBlock help — and telling someone you trust. Your phone's built-in app-limit settings add another layer.
